The Vanier Cup National Punt, Pass, Kick Competition Presented by Petrie Ford is a skills competition where contestants are judged by both distance and accuracy, when punting, throwing, and kicking a football. Each participant competes in all three events, and their scores are based on distance. The contestant with the highest overall score across all three events is declared the winner.
The Vanier Cup National Punt, Pass, Kick Competition Presented by Petrie Ford is open to all high school football players (tackle, touch or flag). High school coaches can register their team, or certain players on their team, for the event.
The winner will take home a brand new set of full set of jerseys supplied by T. Litzen Sports for their high school team!

Rules
01
Best single Pass, Punt or Kick in the respective competition will be declared the winner of that event.
02
The distance will be measured from the launch line to the yard line where the ball hits the ground.
Punt
• Participants may take five steps behind the launch line before the punt.
• The ball must be dropped from the hand and kicked before it hits the ground and before the ball crosses the launch line.
Pass
• Participants may take no more than five steps behind the line to “step-in” to their throw.
• The ball must be released from the hand before the ball crosses the launch line.
Kick
• The ball must be placed stationary, on the launch line, on a tee and kicked.
• Participants may take five steps to approach their kick.
03
An individual’s score will be recorded in yards by the distance the ball travels forward in the air (not where it rolls).
04
Each participant will be allowed three attempts in his or her event at the local competition, two at provincials and only one at the ensuing events.
05
If a competitor steps over the launch line, that particular attempt will not be counted.
